My story
Why I do this work
I started my career in HR and talent acquisition at a Fortune 100, where I reviewed thousands of resumes and sat in on countless calibration meetings. I learned the difference between the candidates who got moved forward and the ones who — despite being qualified — never made it past the first screen.
Later I led talent strategy for high-growth technology and financial services companies, hiring for everything from individual contributor roles to VP-level searches. Along the way, I saw waves of RIFs reshape entire industries. The pattern was always the same: strong professionals, blindsided by a corporate decision, suddenly asked to market themselves without a playbook.
I founded Next Path to be that playbook. Practical, direct, and rooted in what actually moves the needle today — not job-search advice from a decade ago.
